Body: Inara tends to be mistaken for her age and that is mostly due to her body build. She is rather slim over all, not much to her for curves, can say she has a dancers build if you want. Point is those there is not much to her, small busy and small hips. Not really bony though as much as she is in fact just small in frame, her weight is fine over all, she could use to eat better and gain a few pounds but nothing bad. Her fingers have some scaring from string instruments, and in fact from her own ice stabbing at her or losing layers of skin from ice. Over all pale given she avoids being outside most of the year, in fact winter is when she has a slight tan and summer she is deathly pale.

Clothing Style: Typically sticks to skirts because she just likes them, likely shorter than she should given they are well above the knee, but she likes them and finds them comfortable. Bounces between pencil skirts and pleated, depending on her mood and style for the day. Shirts are either button up dress shirts, tanktops or nicer blouses, again mostly seems to depend on her mood for the day. Sometimes will be lazy and go for a dress, and yes to her those are lazy, they are all simple in style, more like summer dresses really. Never bothers with dress shoes or heels, sneakers or boots work just fine, yes with skirts and dresses, yes she realizes that might not be normal, oh well. Does change out her earrings pretty often, every couple of days, mostly prefers silver metal and simple styles. Makeup is always lightly done, just to highlight her own features really.

Fears/Secrets: Has accidentally killed, was locked up for it for a while till she could show control. It was self defense, but it still bothers her that she had that slip in control, and well she cannot let it get out that there is a murderer as a teacher.

Family: Her father is Isamu, alive and works as a computer tech, mother is Yiome and location unknown

History: Inara was born almost three months early and thus not really well prepared for nor particularly healthy upon birth. Alas it was needed to be that soon, unplanned or not, because of the failing health of her mother, Yiome, the entire pregnancy had been hard. The only reason they were in France at all was to see a specialist, Yiome's body temperature had been dropping horrible, making her have all sorts of health issues for reasons unknown. Alas upon giving birth the reason quickly came clear that it was the child's fault, the little baby almost blue in colour and already with ice forming in the air. Yiome was horrified, swore that the child was an ill omen and would bring them all death, threatened to murder the baby even. Thankfully Isamu, the father, quickly solved that and ended up taking his daughter and leaving his wife in France, wanting nothing more to do with her after talk of murdering an innocent child, his child. 

Isamu really had no knowledge of how to raise a baby, but he tried, he did research, he found a single-father's group and joined it. Even tried to do research into his baby's strange powers, which alas drew attention, but really it was only a matter of time before it was noticed. Inara's entire nursery was often covered in frost and ice patches, it would have been better noticed as she got older. So when government officials showed up Isamu had to fight to keep his daughter, not caring what reasons they sited at him, not caring that his baby girl tended to accidentally freeze most things. She had learned to not freeze him after a few weeks so he insisted she could learn how to control herself, he had not been injured by her in weeks, everything else could be replaced as need be. So it was worked out that she could stay under his care if she wore a suppression cuff. 

Things moved on really, and Inara never was a normal child, too quiet and too calm, she watched things with too keen of an eye and learned things far too fast. She moved through school too fast, keeping her separate from her classmates when she skipped around classes and years. Left her life being rather lonely, but she seemed to prefer it, even with a suppression cuff she was cold to the touch and could still chill things if she tried, it was best if she was left alone.

Teenage years were harder, the cuff no longer really worked as her powers grew with puberty, which might never have been a problem except that a teacher attempted to corner and proposition her. He got too handsy when she tried to escape, slammed her against a wall with a hand around her throat and her powers acted up with a spark of cold fear. It was Inara that called the emergency number, that turned herself in and was found calmly sitting at a desk when scepter four showed up to both arrest her and to see to the frozen body. It was ruled self defense, giving the bruising on her arms and neck but she was still taken into custody. It was only because she complied with everything and never fussed that things were talked and negotiated over. It was after far too many talks and tests Inara was allowed to remove the cuff and see if she could control herself on her own. It took two weeks in a controlled environment but she managed it, and so at the age of 16 she was no longer cuffed.

At 17 she finished school and went to do a year as teacher's assistant in music, having known exactly what she wanted to do, music was logical, it flowed and had math to it almost, but was also the only way she really understood how to express herself. It was a welcome surprise this last year when the music teacher stepped down and demanded that Inara take over. The other surprise was finding someone else with control over ice and coldness, though he was not born with ice he held domain over it now, so of course she had to go poke him. Was not hard to label him as a King, not given her knowledge of the golds and blues that still checked in on her because of her strain status. Which point brings to pretty much current day. 



Abilities: Inara is classified as a Risk Level 3 strain, her ability being over ice, often referred to as cryokinesis. Inara can create and control ice, freezing the water in the air to lower temperatures, or pulling it together enough to frost and ice over her surroundings. It can be harmful given people are mostly liquid so if Inara lost control she can kill, or at the least cause lost of limbs. Thankfully her control is rather iron tight and she does not have a want to harm anyone, plus the fact she is checked on often by the blue clan holds her in check past that. Still it is an ability she was born with, it makes up a large part of her life. Inara is cold to the touch, she does often have signs of frost in her hair. She is unable to stand high heats for long, fires make her ill, being outside in the summer for longer than a few minutes is horrible for her health even. 

Trivia:

• will chew on the cored of her headphones without realizing, making her have to replace them every few weeks
• not fond of sugary foods or drinks, but does like spicy things oddly enough
• does tend to avoid touching people, will bow in greeting and motion at things instead of handing them over
• very rarely smiles, mostly just tilts her head slightly with a pleased hum
• rarely goes places in the summer but winter time she comes alive and is more social over all  
• is waiting to see if scepter four will check in on her now that she belongs to a clan
